At 13, I left Latvia alone with a hockey bag to pursue this game in Switzerland. I’ve lived the pressure, the uncertainty, and the mistakes that come with chasing the next level.
Today, I play professionally for HC Sierre, after developing through HC Lugano and representing Latvia internationally.
